Description: The Cheltenham Race Festival comes highly recommended on the sporting calander. This is a fantastic all-inclusive package which includes five nights, dinner, B & B, your Tattersalls race ticket and transport. Whether you are taking on the bookies or just soaking up the atmosphere, Cheltenham is one of the greatest racing festivals of the year!

ITINERARY

 

14th March: After our early morning start, we catch the morning sailing to North Wales.  From Holyhead we travel southwards, with a comfort stops en-route.  We reach our hotel Menzies Stourport Manor Hotel early evening.

15th March: After breakfast we travel the short journey to Cheltenham in plenty of time to sample the atmosphere of this famous festival. Day 1 of the Cheltenham Festival, featuring the 2016 Champion Hurdle. Your Tattersalls tickets will allow you to enjoy extensive viewing, betting and eating facilities, including access to The Centaur, paddock and unsaddling enclosure. 

16th March: After breakfast we travel to Cheltenham, day 2 of the Cheltenham Race Festival, featuring the 2016 Queen Mother Champion Chase.  Today is also Ladies Day, Ladies can enter the fashion stakes and be in with a chance to win some fantastic prizes. Entertainment will be provided in The Centaur.  We return to the hotel after the last race.

17th March: After breakfast we travel to Cheltenham in plenty of time for the first of the day’s races, day 3 of the Cheltenham Festival, featuring the 2016 Ladbrokes World Hurdle. Today we also celebrate St Patrick’s Day a special day’s entertainment at the course. After the last race we travel back to the hotel for our last night and our evening dinner.

18th March: After Breakfast we travel to Cheltenham in plenty of time for the Cheltenham Gold Cup Day. The clash between the top English and Irish horses is what makes the Festival for many and the biggest cheers are almost always reserved for the Irish-trained winners.  After the last race we travel back to the hotel for our last night and our evening dinner.

19th March: After breakfast we travel to Holyhead for our afternoon sailing to Ireland arriving home early evening in time. Arrival in Dublin Port approximately 5.00pm.
